American Flag

The great flag shows the heart and freedom in every single American citizen. It represents the lives that were lost and will be lost fighting for our country.  When you look at the flag, what do you see? I see the heart of every solider that has died fighting for this country. The flag has helped us through really, really tough times. There were the attacks on Pearl Harbor and the World Trade Center. It has helped us through countless of wars. It has always  been there, through the evil in the world and the peace that comes. When you pledge your allegiance to the flag, you are making a promise, a promise to stand by through the good and bad. The American flag is a symbol of our promise. It shows that we as citizens have made that promise. We as Americans need to keep that promise.

American citizens.
